Articles for Episode 361: More Poor Choices

I'll admit it, anyone can make poor choices. When you're in the political "eye" those bad ideas can and will come back to haunt you. In this episode we're going to look at some recent decisions that will be regretted… in some cases sooner rather than later! We also talked about these back in June of this year with Episode 338 (Poor Choices).

As mentioned on the show, we're going to be pushing our Facebook page more this year. We are also asking folks to support us by listening to the show on Red State Talk Radio or Stitcher.com. Articles for this episode:
Here are a few other articles to discuss…
You can join the conversation every Sunday night at 8:30pm and now if you want to help suggest articles, comment or just chat you can join us on Twitter at @ECConservative. Episode 165: Good and Bad Decisions

In tonight’s episode we have to talk about the decisions we make. After listening to the news of the week, it seems that there are some good, some bad... and some we can only guess the impact of.

Episode 82: What were we saying about foreign policy?

In this episode of the podcast, Ken and I reflect on the warnings given to the Obama administration and show examples of how their refusal to at least acknowledge those warnings is now coming back to bite them in the rear end! When it comes to foreign policy, the liberal concept that "everyone will love us if we don't flex our muscles" has resulted in creating more harm than good for the US abroad. Last weekend I talked about the community at RepublicanOperative.com! This morning I got word that a message area specific to our podcast has been created! You can access it by going to http://www.republicanoperative.com/forums/ecc-podcast-episodes/. Also, our facebook page is up and running and of course we have our store at Printfection.com/eccstuff. Episode 80: Obama Needs a Better Speech Writer

In this episode we were supposed to discuss Obama's recent speeches and the self-contradictions and historical mistakes he's made. We're also going to extend the show to proclamations and statements made by Obama's representatives in the administration. That's where we started - and a lot of what we did talk about. However, there were some other areas that had to be talked about as well! There were some great comments and a few interesting side-topics that may have to be explored later. Here's what we talked about (at least a few of the articles)
As much as we wanted to talk about these, time just wasn't there for it

Episode 79: A Dog's Tale of Foreign and Domestic Policies

We had a lot to discuss on tonight's show - from the heroic deeds of a little dog to the misguided actions of the party that doesn't want to offend any one. We were joined by quite a few folks in both SecondLife and TalkShoe that made the show great! Be sure to listen for the information about our new sponsor! There are money saving codes for GoDaddy.com in the podcast. Also, stay tuned as we're going to be launching a product line soon. Items discussed in tonight's show:

Episode 72: Liberal Lies and Half-Truths

In tonight's episode we are going to take a look at ways the liberals twist the truth or fabricate blatant lies to advance their agenda. Wheter we are talking about the past or the present one can find places where the truth is changed to fit the agenda of the media. Full show notes will be posted at http://www.eastcoastconservative.com Tonight's show was all set to go up until about 45 minutes before it was time to start recording. We didn't change the subject but I was rather humbled after talking with a well-respected person about the topics and articles. The show focused on looking at the way truth can be made to be fiction, the effect that history can have in a conversaiton and the ways polls can be interpreted. On tonight's show:

Episode 70: Tea Party Reconsiders Vetting Congress

In today's episode we had a few different subject to cover. In our discussion we were joined by Debra JM Smith of InformingChristians.com and "Shamrock Jim" of The Zoo Radio Show. There was also a great crowd in both the SecondLife and TalkShoe chat rooms! On tonight's show we had three main elements to cover, all of them somewhat disparate. The majority of the show centered around a New York judge's ruling against the FDA, directing them to reconsider the age restrictions on the Plan B pill. I also had to play the pity point for the Obama administration's new hires. Apparently they're running into that no-lobbyist rule and it's slowing things down. Gee, who would have thought that it would be hard to find qualified specialists in DC that did not have any lobbying connections? There's a Tea Party running across this land! Tonight I played the new Tea Party Anthem by Lloyd Marcus that had the folks in SecondLife dancing in the aisles! If you're feeling "TEA'd" (that's short for Taxed Enough Already!) you can go to TeaPartyDay.com to find out more. Finally, there were two different stores of Congressional probes. Each one provides an example of how much make-work the folks on the Hill have to come up with for themselves. They also show the overriding theme that people cannot make decisions on their own without the Feds involvment. Articles discussed in the show:
