Articles for Front Porch Political Talk #93: Setting the Narrative

We're going to be looking at a number of articles that point this out from various angles. Join us for the recording session if you can. Articles for Front Porch Political Talk #91: Scapegoats and Excuses

One of the reasons for the groundswell of derision against politicians is their constant refusal to admit their errors. Instead there is a constant search for scapegoats and excuses why policies fail and elections are lost. In this episode we look at a selection of those along with other news.

Front Porch Political Talk Episode 71: Alternate Reality

I felt a lot more grounded at the end of this episode than I did at the beginning. We covered a lot of the subjects and even had a good belly laugh at the beginning. Some of the commentary may sound a bit choppy because I had to edit out some excess noise. Nothing of value was lost though.

Articles for Front Porch Political Talk #62: Where is Their...

We've talked about people's intentions, understanding and plans. In this episode we ask where various theoretical parts are. We look at the US and abroad to see how plans bring up questions of sanity.

For those that follow the Facebook page you'll notice that several recent episodes were posted.  When we switched the domain name it had the unexpected consequence of breaking the RSS/Twitter/Facebook link.  That has now been corrected.

When you look at some news stories there's a tendency to ask if those involved were under some kind of chemical influence. The articles we're looking at this week had me asking this question several times. Articles for this episode:

Front Porch Political Talk Episode 52: Mouth Beats Brain

Despite the intro being a bit of an example where the mouth moved before the brain thought, this was a great show and covered a wide, exceedingly wide, array of topics. On that note I'm going to put a Parental Advisory Notice on this episode. We did get to the MSNBC article where the pundit made a comarison or stereotype about a certain group and some of their activities. If you don't want to have to explain adult hentai to your kids, don't have them in the room when you're listneing.

Something else that was mentioned at the end of the show, we will not be recording a new episode next weekend. Personal business will have me away from the computer next Sunday night so I we're going to take the night off.
