Front Porch Political Talk Episode 42: Addressing Issues

We didn't get to all of the articles but in many cases the issues were addressed. We did have a fun time with some of the articles and Joesf has a "coming out" statement that went somewhere I didn't expect it to.

Articles for Front Porch Political Talk #42: Addressing Issues

We've had our local elections for the year with some interesting outcomes. Even with a large number of incumbents winning there are several issues that appear to have been brought to the light of day which might be addressed. In this episode we will look at these issues and the actions that are being proposed to address them.

Front Porch Political Talk Episode 26: No Place For It

A good recording with this episode, definitely worth the listen!  One of the best feats I think we managed to accomplish during the recording was to talk about the protests in South Carolina as an event without muddying the waters on the "right or wrong" of either side.  I mentioned during the podcast our affiliation with Red State Talk Radio but misspoke on the domain, the correct link for Red State Talk Radio is http://www.redstatetalkradio.com.

Articles for Front Porch Political Talk #26: No Place For It

The events of the past week have been interesting to say the least! In this episode we're going to look at some things that don't really mesh with the mindsets of the "average" American, whether they have a right to or not.

Articles for Front Porch Political Talk #15: Interesting Concepts

Each week there are items to discuss that hopefully listeners find interesting. This time we have a hodge-podge of articles that are all "interesting" in their own right, drawing ire or praise depending on your personal beliefs.

We are also joined this week by Rod Eccles, a fellow host on Red State Talk Radio and entrepreneur. You can find more information about his show at RodEccles.net.

Front Porch Political Talk Episode 13: Getting the Story Straight

This was a good episode from a content perspective but I found audio "glitches" on the production side. In fact it was so bad that this episode did not make it to Red State Talk Radio. All that said I felt the conversation was cohesive enough and the message important enough to release it to podcast subscribers.

Articles for Front Porch Political Talk #3: Freedom to be Ignorant

There is always talk of freedoms and exercising rights in our country. What many people don't recognize is the fact that folks do have the right to maintain a level of ignorance. This has been perpetuated by governmental actions, a growing media and control of the news cycle. In this episode we are going to look at some articles that point this out.

Articles for Episode 326: Talking About Justice

There are times when justice is served and times when it is abused. In this episode we are going to be looking at both of these scenarios tonight including a case of poetic justice that cannot be missed.

Sadly, this will be our last episode on the Boost Radio Network.  I want to thank the station for their support and the opportunity to learn more about both the radio industry as a whole and content placement concepts as a whole.  We will continue to play on the Red State Talk Radio network and be available, as always, in podcast form.

Episode 306: Doubling Down

The politicians are doubling down and so are we! We had a lively discussion in this episode that included lots of laughs and some serious moments as well.

One of the interesting questions raised by Larry is what's going to happen in the future to the people pushing some of these questionable agendas. Sadly we can only assume the answer for the moment will be, "nothing."

Articles for Episode 306: Doubling Down

Given the season and the recent political events, you might expect that folks might take a bit of a breather. You'd be wrong. Politicians from both sides of the aisle are doubling down on their stances. In some cases they're bringing more evidence and in others they're standing by their claims. There are even some that are backpedaling to revise what they said to match reality.

In this episode we're going to be discussing a few different items that give examples of this. It's always an interesting discussion and we hope you can join us any Sunday night at 8:30pm eastern! Articles for this episode:
Just a few other articles to add for reading this week.

Episode 297: Discriminating Minds

The question of the night was if certain groups were being discriminated against and there was not a specific answer. We shuffled articles around a bit and had a good time.

Click Here to download the podcast, or listen using the Blubrry player (the blue ball on the right of the page).

I'm finishing up my listen of The Liberty Amendments by Mark Levin. They list not only the changes that Mr. Levin recommends but also the historical back-story for each one. We'll actually be taking some time during upcoming episodes to discuss these proposals at length, so if you want to participate in them take advantage of an Audible credit and get the book now!  What Audible credit?  You can get a free 30 day trial at Audible.com as well as a free audio book by going to http://www.audibletrial.com/eastcoastconservative and signing up.

Articles for Episode 297: Discriminating Minds

Given that this week included the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech at a rally in Washington DC, I wanted to look at some modern impacts of the policies and how off track or obscure some of them have to go to attempt to relate to it. In this episode we are going to be talking about a number of different subjects, most of them claiming discrimination. Are those claims valid?

Episode 292: This Can't End Well

This was quite the lively episode! Apparently the articles I pulled illustrate more than just that specific issue of things not ending well but go beyond that. Most of the folks on the call were of the opinion that they shine a light on the plans that illustrate where the left want to take the country.

What do you think? Are these isolated or are they disparate parts of a larger plan? Is there a way for any of these items to end well? Let us know!

The recommended book for this week is "Sh-t My Dad Says" by Justin Halpern. It's an interesting look and a reminder to delve beyond the gruff exterior of people around us.

There was quite a bit that happened this past week and with many of the stories I read, I shook my head and said, "this can't end well." Episode 270: Behind the Green Curtain

Well, as promised there are a lot of things out there that are being used to distract and misdirect the American public that we talked about in this episode. We had quite a time breaking things down and pulling them apart.

Our Zazzle store is open to the public! Support the podcast and enjoy a hot beverage of your choice at the same time. Articles for Episode 270: Behind the Green Curtain

Watching the news and events that happen on a weekly basis, I've come to the conclusion that there is some serious manipulating going on by either the President or someone close to him. In this episode we're going to look at some blatant examples of this.

After this episode's recording we are back to our normal Sunday night recording schedule!

Thanks to everyone for working with us on the change and for your continued support! Articles for this episode:
There are many other stories as well… not as many as last week, but they are still worth checking out!
