Podcast/Show on Hiatus

Effective immediately the Front Porch Political Talk show is taking an extended hiatus.

Those are very difficult words for me to write but I have to. For a number of different reasons the show has, for the moment, run its course. We have always had the goal to provide insight and information from different perspectives and on different issues. The current media and political climate makes achieving that goal week in and week out neigh on impossible. The arguments are repeating themselves and if we continue on the path we're on it turns into either an echo chamber or a broken clock.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your input, insight and participation. Since 2007 I have worked with wonderful people and enjoyed a lot of fun times. We have seen the political climate go through a number of shifts and many faces come and go. I appreciate the time all of my fellow podcasters and content creators have spent on my show as well as opening up their own time for me to participate.

While the weekly recordings of the podcast are stopping for now, I anticipate more activity on the Facebook page. I'm not shutting down the site or the conversation and I hope to restart the show some time in the future.

Until then, stay safe and keep talking!

In all cases, there are steps being taken… sometimes in a reverse course and other times dead ahead. Join us for the recording session if you can. Front Porch Political Talk Episode 95: Similar Story, Next Chapter

People expected something different and the media and pundits are painting Trump's actions as such. Unfortunately, they're wrong.

Yes, the posting of this episode is more than a week late. No, we did not record on the last Sunday of January. Yes, I could have handled the communication on it better. I'm working to get things back on track. Thank you for your patience!

Articles for Front Porch Political Talk #93: Setting the Narrative

We are on the verge of a political change that can be called unprecedented from many different angles.
