Episode 121: Take a Deep Breath

For this weekend's show we were once again joined by David Oatney, Tennessee State House Examiner for Examiner.com and host of Oatney on the Air.

It's been almost a week since the "Health Care Reform" bill was signed in to law. Unfortunately things have started deteriorating quickly since then and we're going to talk about that anger and bring up some thoughts and concepts on handling it.

Along with the issues of violence, we had a few other things to discuss - including the fact that Obama et al are still trying to sell the bill that has now become law. I included text from a letter I received from Congresswoman Louise Slaughter that she sent out trying to convince me that it's a good thing.

As I say in the podcast, if you like the show, blog about us and tell four friends and blog about us! If you didn't like tonight's show, we invite you back next week (or in this case, for the next episode) where you will hear different words in a different order.

Episode 120a: Dancin' Democrats

It's been three days since the Democrats pushed through the Senate version of "Health Care Reform" and we're still seeing our Commander in Chief in campaign mode trying to sell it!  In this morning's comments I reflect on the differences between reconciliation and amendments and I have a new phrase, gladly stolen from Michael Dinowitz of HouseOfFusion.com...

... is like sword-dancing blindfolded on a freshly waxed minefield.
This can apply in so many different areas today!

Episode 120: It's All About the Vote

Tonight's episode featured a special guest co-host, David Oatney, host of Oatney on the Air and Tennessee State House Examiner for Examiner.com. I don't think I have to elaborate too much on the subject for tonight's show - it's obvious that history will record the actions of the House of Representatives this day.

While there were some articles for follow-up from past episodes, I had thought that some time during the show the actual results would be known. Unfortunately I didn't take into account the time-burning effects of such a collection of wind-bags when they have complete control of the media.

Episode 119: Same Names, Same Games

Tonight's episode started off shaky but finally got rolling - I had a true case of being tongue-tied! We did get things right and after that it was all clear!

For this week's episodes we've got some stories that are living examples of Einsteinian insanity... trying something repeatedly and expecting different results. In this case the experiments are coming from the left, they're not anything new and they're producing the same results.

Episode 118: Where'd That Come From?

In tonight's show we've got some things to catch up on along with a few stories that I was surprised to find. As usual, more is going on than can be covered in the 26 or so minutes that makes up the nightly news!

I think the most memorable part of this episode is going to be the fact that I when I voice the fact that I feel sorry for Gov. Paterson and was effectively told not to waste my emotion. We also ended with some words from Michael Moore address to President Obama - words that I'm not surprised to see and that further point to an extremely interesting election season. Thanks to Warpig for the link to that late in the show!
